General Sales Specialist, Scientific Instruments

Manchester, Bolton, Blackburn, Preston, Warrington, Liverpool

£25k - £35k basic (£7k - £15k bonus on top) plus company car, pension scheme, private healthcare, laptop, mobile and full-home office set-up

ROLE INFORMATION:

The role will involve selling the full range of Analytical Instrumentation direct to end users within Academia, Pharmaceutical and chemical markets in a role that will consist largely of generating new business (around 80%) with the remaining focus on managing key accounts on patch. You will be required to negotiate with chief chemists typically and order values can vary but a typical order would be around £20k. You will be required to turnover between £400k & £500k year one.

CANDIDATE SKILLS REQUIRED -

- Scientific sales experience with a proven track record selling Equipment, Consumables or Services into similar markets

- Must be based on patch

CANDIDATE SKILLS BENEFICIAL

- Previous experience selling into universities on patch such as UMIST & Liverpool University

- Good communication skills

- Consultative sales approach
