UK/Europe Account Manager, Batteries (1007-15)

Oxford, London, Liverpool, Leeds, Manchester, Nottingham, Sheffield, Birmingham, Milton Keynes

£40k basic salary (+ 20% OTE) BMW 3-series/Audi A4 grade company car, telephone line, laptop and mobile

ROLE INFORMATION:

The company is looking for a ‘junior’ account manager to promote and sell the company’s full product range within the Transportation division. The Snr Key Account manager is retiring at the end of 2011 so this person will be expected to provide the company with a smooth handover of the business currently managed by this individual. The person will be expected to serve accounts in both the UK and throughout Europe spending 1/3rd of their time managing non-uk based accounts and the remaining 2/3rds covering the UK.

CANDIDATE SKILLS REQUIRED

- Demonstrable track record selling a commodity product e.g. Tyres to Automotive tier one customers

- Flexibility to work from home and cover the UK and Europe

CANDIDATE SKILLS DESIREABLE:

- European market experience

- Commercial/Technical Degree
